Lead Quality Engineer – The Role:

As Lead Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring our electrical sensing components meet the highest standards of quality. This is a hands‑on position where your expertise directly impacts customer satisfaction and product reliability.

You will take ownership of identifying and resolving non‑conformances, translating quality system requirements into practical processes, and driving continuous improvement. Working within a small, focused team and reporting to the Quality & EHS Manager, you will help shape the quality culture of a growing, innovative business.

Lead Quality Engineer – The Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test electrical/mechanical components to meet customer and internal standards
  • Maintain records and analyse returns or failures
  • Support quality documentation: PPAP, FMEA, control plans
  • Assist with process capability, statistical analysis, and quality planning
  • Interpret engineering specifications, tolerances, and drawings
  • Drive quality system improvements, supporting IATF 16949 preparation
  • Deputise for the Quality & EHS Manager as needed
Lead Quality Engineer – You:
  • HND/HNC qualified with 5–7 years in Quality Management
  • Experienced in manufacturing electrical/electronic components
  • Knowledge of certified systems (IATF 16949, ISO)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and multi‑skilled in engineering disciplines
  • Able to read technical documents, schematics, and circuit diagrams
  • Results‑driven, confident in resolving quality issues and supporting operations
  • Comfortable liaising directly with customers on quality matters
