About The Role
Insight provides data and analytics solutions to partners in the insurance industry, empowering partners with actionable insights to optimise operations, improve insurer experience, and drive business growth. As a Lead Analyst / Pricing Manager, you will lead a high-performing team of analytical specialists, shape strategic insights, and personally deliver high-priority outputs that drive commercial outcomes. You’ll work across Insight partners to deliver business-critical analysis, facilitate cross-team collaboration, and contribute to long-term technical strategy. You will build a culture of curiosity, continuous improvement, and strategic influence.

What You'll Be Doing
- Lead and develop a team of senior analysts, fostering a supportive and high-performance culture.
- Translate strategic business priorities into a clear and actionable analytics roadmap.
- Oversee delivery across concurrent projects with competing demands, ensuring rigour, timeliness, and stakeholder alignment.
- Own and deliver hands-on analytics that inform insurance partner strategies, pricing decisions, and customer propositions.
- Identify long-term risks, champion improvement opportunities, and influence strategy through high-quality storytelling.
- Coach and develop team members through regular feedback, mentoring, and career development planning.
- Represent the team in senior forums, contributing to data-informed commercial decisions and external thought leadership.
- Support Insight product and engineering teams with development of analytically oriented data products.
- Serve as the go-to expert on insurance pricing and risk-based methodologies, embedding best practices across internal projects and external partner initiatives. Deliver high-impact analytical solutions for Insight partners.
- Monitor and interpret key regulatory developments within the personal lines insurance market, assessing their implications for insurer capabilities and pricing strategies.
What We're Looking For
- Substantial experience in data analytics, ideally in insurance or financial services, with a proven cross-functional impact.
- Strong technical skills (SQL, Python, Tableau) and the ability to apply them to high-ambiguity challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver program-level outcomes while balancing leadership, execution, and stakeholder engagement.
- Deep expertise in insurance pricing methodologies, risk-based pricing principles, underwriting dynamics, and portfolio optimisation.
- Passion for people development and creating inclusive, high-performance team environments.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, setting priorities, and aligning work with broader business goals.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, with an aptitude for presenting insight and influencing strategy at a senior level.
- Strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a bias for action.
Highly desirable
- Thorough understanding of FCA regulatory guidance, with awareness of evolving compliance requirements and their strategic implications for pricing and market practices.
- Experience in client-facing consulting roles.
