A leading catering company in London is seeking a Kitchen Porter to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen. You will assist chefs with food prep and ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained. Candidates with some kitchen experience are preferred, alongside strong organizational skills and a good command of English. Qualifications

  • Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage.
  • Ability to demonstrate reasonable/good understanding and use of verbal English.
  • Ability to demonstrate reasonable/good standard of written English and reading skills.

Responsibilities

  • Keep the kitchen hygienic, safe, and up to high standards of cleanliness.
  • Help the Chefs with some food preparation.

Contract: Full Time , Permanent
Salary: £ 14 per hour
Hours: 40 per week

A fantastic B&I location for a software company offering a cloud-based platform for data analytics and artificial intelligence. This location is based in London. Catering for about 250-300 people and operates Monday to Friday. This is a free issue location offering core feeding of Lunch, Coffee Shop and High end hospitality. With its Central London location, it benefits from great travel access.

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join our established & friendly team at our prestigious location in London.

You’ll be playing a big part in keeping the kitchen hygienic, safe, and up to our very high standards of cleanliness.

  • Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage
  • Great team player
  • Be able to help the Chefs with some food prep
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness at all times
  • Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment
  • Clean allocated pieces of heavy catering equipment using instructions and cleaning materials including air filter and extraction systems.
  • Operate industrial dishwasher

We are looking for:

  • Kitchen Porter experience is preferred, but not essential.
  • Organisation Skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.
  • Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.
  • Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred
