Job summary

A leading technology services provider is seeking an IT Specialist to support a program in Scarborough, UK. Job description

Amentum is seeking an IT Specialist to support a program in Scarborough, UK

Responsibilities

• The IT Specialist will assist the 19th EWS IT Manager with tech refreshes and inventory control for the 19th EWS IT equipment.
• Conduct IT management activities that include, by are not limited to: configuring and updating Ramstein Non-classified Internet Protocol Router/ Secret Internet Protocol Router and all UAWC networks; implementation and oversight of email account management programs
• Configuring Windows operating systems and peripherals
• Maintaining printer, to include, adding to print server, mapping to user computers, and troubleshooting problems
• Planning and delivering user support services, such as basic network connectivity, video teleconference support, configuration, troubleshooting, user assistance, and/or training, in response to user IT requirements; and>
• Installing, troubleshooting, configuring voice over internet phone systems.

Minimum Qualifications

• H.S. or Equivalentb>
• The IT Specialist must understand and perform IT Equipment Custodian duties to include tracking and accounting for assets (including but not limited to mobile devices) and following applicable Department of the Air Force Instructions (DAFI), Air Force Instructions (AFI), and local policies for IT systems
• At a minimum, possess a Technical Level II certification in accordance with DoD Directive 8570, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program (i.e. Security +)
• Security Clearance-DOD Secret clearance is required and must be eligible for NATO Secret Indoctrination Applicants selected must currently possess a Secret clearance
• Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.Must maintain clearance during employment
• Must maintain an active SIPRNet account
