Position: Intermediate / Senior Quantity Surveyor

Package: We are offering a basic salary + pension + bonus payments. We will provide APC training and mentorship and all assistance needed to achieve RICS chartered status.

Location: Thames Ditton, Surrey

Responsibilities

• Prepare budget estimates and elemental cost plans
• Review contractors’ tender returns and complete tender analysis with recommendation/evaluation reports
• Produce Contract Documents, general contract administration, valuations, final account process.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of post-graduate experience in a QS role (preferably client side).
• Strong understanding of cost management principles across the project lifecycle.
• Working knowledge of standard forms of contract (e.g., JCT, NEC).
• Professional membership or progress toward chartership (e.g., RICS APC in progress).
• An ability to problem-solve and a proactive approach to their work.
• Keen to work as part of a growing team with ambition to be a future leader in the business.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Eligibility to work in the UK (or relevant location).
• Proficiency in cost planning software like CostX, CATO, or Bluebeam.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills, especially with clients and contractors.
• Experience working on high-end residential or residential development projects.
• Ability to mentor junior QSs or contribute to team development.
