We are currently looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our Visual Surveys Department in Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with engineering, surveying, or infrastructure experience who enjoys working outdoors and in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ConductAnnual Engineering Inspections (AEI)throughwalked or driven visual surveys.
  • Workon-site and outdoors, either independently or as part of a team.
  • EnsureHealth & Safetyregulations are followed at all times.
  • Maintain and care forspecialist equipmentprovided for the role.
  • Accuratelycollect, record, and submit inspection datain a timely manner.
  • Assist insite supervision and project coordination.
  • Be flexible towork extended hours and weekendswhen required.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • GCSE Maths & English (Grade C or above).
  • Ability toidentify pavement failure mechanismsand recommend treatment options.
  • Strongattention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
  • Understanding ofmaps, geographical data, and infrastructure layouts.
  • Proficiency inMicrosoft Office, email, and web-based applications.
  • A strongwork ethicwith a commitment toquality and accuracy.
  • Full UK Driving License (Category B) with 6 points or less(if under 25, access to own vehicle required).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • HNC in Civil Engineeringor related field.
  • Experience inpavement engineering or local authority highways departments.
  • Membership with ICE or MCIHT.
  • Experience withpavement design, asset management principles, and CAD packages.
  • Knowledge ofnon-destructive testing techniques(Deflectograph, FWD, DCP, etc.).
  • Understanding ofpavement construction and maintenance methods.
