A leading hydraulic services provider in the UK is seeking a Hydraulic Service Engineer for a customer-facing, hands-on role. You will be responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of hydraulic systems, providing technical support and ensuring compliance with HSE regulations. The ideal candidate possesses strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills along with an NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from £30,250 to £40,000, with additional benefits.
My client is an established, well-known company within the hydraulic industry. With over 50 years trading history they specialise in providing a multi‑service model to their clients across the hydraulic sector – being able to design, manufacture, service and install hydraulic systems. Due to growth, they are looking to add a driven Hydraulic Field Service Engineer to their successful engineering team. As a Hydraulic Field Service Engineer you will be responsible for installation, maintenance and repairs of hydraulic systems across various environments. This is a field‑based, customer‑facing, hands‑on role, with plenty of problem solving.
Location: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk County
Salary: £30,250 – £40,000 DOE – overtime, van, pension, mobile. (Salary increases after probation)
Schedule: Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work.
