Job summary

A leading technology firm in Cambridge is looking for experienced engineers to join their Power Attainment team. The role focuses on developing scalable power models and optimising performance for next-generation solutions. Ideal candidates will have strong programming skills in Python or C++, and experience in low-power architecture and power management. This position offers a hybrid working arrangement and opportunities for impactful contributions in the AI landscape.

Qualifications

  • Experience in power analysis, modelling, or transferable skills from verification, SW, emulation, or design.
  • Familiarity with database design and management (SQL/NoSQL).
  • Background in machine learning or data analytics for modelling and prediction.

Responsibilities

  • Analysing and optimising performance per watt using innovative technologies.
  • Developing scalable power models for IPs and SOCs.
  • Creating tooling for power and performance estimation.

Skills

Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++
System-level power modelling and performance/power trade-offs
Experience with low-power architecture, power optimisation, and power management
Proven track record working with data-driven modelling frameworks
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and interpersonal skills

Tools

CI/CD pipeline automation (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
Power estimation and analysis tools (e.g., PowerArtist, PrimePower, PowerPro, Joules)
