Job summary

A leading facilities management company in the UK is seeking an HR Adviser to provide first-line HR advice and support in employee relations. The ideal candidate will have extensive HR experience, particularly within an FM environment, and strong knowledge of UK employment legislation. This role includes advising on HR policies, managing disputes, and supporting line managers with compliance. Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in an HR role, preferably in an FM environment.
  • An excellent knowledge of UK employment legislation and case law.
  • Knowledge of TUPE Regulations and their practical application.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional first-line HR advice to managers and employees.
  • Advise on employment legislation and personnel policies.
  • Manage disputes, discipline, grievances, and consultation cases.
  • Monitor and supervise the implementation of operational salary reviews.

Skills

Extensive experience in an HR role
Excellent knowledge of UK employment legislation
CIPD qualified – working towards or holding Level 7
Knowledge of TUPE Regulations
Communication and negotiating skills
Good analytical skills

Education

CIPD Level 7 qualification
