Job summary

A reputable vehicle maintenance company in Aldridge is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join their Aftermarket team. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing refuse collection vehicles to ensure safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance and proven experience in commercial vehicle repair. This role offers a salary of up to £43,360 and flexible working hours.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial vehicle repair and servicing.
• Understanding of electronics, hydraulics, and wiring diagrams.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including overtime.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on chassis and mounted equipment.
• Service vehicles to VOSA standards and prepare them for MOT inspections.
• Maintain accurate records and enter job details into company systems.
