A leading mental health service provider in the UK is looking for a committed Healthcare Worker in Abergavenny. This full-time role involves supporting patients with their care and wellbeing in a structured setting. Key responsibilities include assisting with personal care and monitoring patient conditions. Llanarth Court Hospital is looking to recruit a Healthcare Worker to join the team. This is a full time, 37.5 hours per week role.
Pay rate: £26,201/per annum
The shifts are 12 hours on a rota basis to include nights, weekends and bank holidays. Shift times would be:
Day Shift = 07:30 > 19:45
Night Shift = 19:30 > 07:45
Due to a genuine occupational requirement, you will ideally hold a Full UK Manual Driving Licence for this particular role.
Priory Hospital Llanarth Court, located in Usk, Monmouthshire, offers secure services for adults. We provide a specialist assessment and treatment service for people with mental health conditions, who present with a variety of behaviours that challenge. We also have an additional facility within the grounds of the hospital, offering opportunities for individuals who require bespoke packages of care, as part of our bespoke therapeutic placement (BTP) offering.
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients' wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As a Healthcare Worker, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.
As a Healthcare Worker, you’ll be part of a large multi-disciplinary team to support our patients to receive optimal care. Our treatment aims at site are to promote independence and encourage patient involvement in their care through effective communication and engagement.
The successful candidate must be honest, hardworking and reliable with a proven record of using initiative to support patient care and progress.
