A leading infrastructure program in Birmingham and London is seeking a Senior Occupational Health & Wellbeing leader. This pivotal role involves shaping and delivering the health agenda for a significant infrastructure programme, requiring strong knowledge of occupational health legislation and excellent communication skills. The position offers a competitive salary of £98-£110k with hybrid working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Degree-level education in a relevant health discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Strong knowledge of occupational health legislation, standards and ethical frameworks.
• Excellent influencing and communication skills, capable of engaging at board level.
• Experience developing and delivering health strategies within construction, rail, engineering or other high-risk industries.

Responsibilities

• Develop organisational policies, strategies and standards for occupational health.
• Lead health surveillance and monitoring programmes to manage workforce health risks.
• Create and implement health and wellbeing communications and engagement strategies.
• Provide expert strategic advice to senior leaders.

Skills

Strong knowledge of occupational health legislation
