Role Overview

As Head of Finance, you will bring broad experience across financial control, reporting, and performance analysis to strengthen the team’s capabilities and help drive financial performance forward. With a strategic, scale-up mindset, you will deliver long-term growth plans—balancing commercial insight with hands-on delivery to keep Finance running smoothly and effectively.

You will champion sustainable, practical solutions, working closely with the CFO to ensure financial strategy supports business growth. This is a role for a hands-on leader who can plan strategically while diving into the detail when needed, keeping the team motivated, engaged, and collaborative.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategic Impact

• Guide the Finance team with clarity and purpose, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while driving continuous improvement.
• Implement strategic initiatives in collaboration with the CFO to strengthen financial operations and support ambitious company goals.
• Foster a high-performance culture, identifying growth opportunities and supporting development programs.

Operational Excellence & Risk Management

• Manage group funds and cash flow with accuracy and timeliness, maintaining robust financial controls and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and safeguard the financial integrity of the business.
• Work cross-functionally with compliance, legal, settlements, and IT to ensure seamless operations.
• Contribute to finance-led initiatives that drive company-wide impact, with clear OKRs and KPIs.

Technology & Innovation

• Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency within Finance processes.
• Collaborate with IT and product teams to modernize ways of working, helping the Finance function scale effectively.

Reporting & Strategic Analysis

• Deliver accurate, timely reporting and analysis to support the CFO and Leadership team.
• Build flexible budgeting and forecasting models to provide clear insight for decision-making.
• Support wider company strategy and planning through data-driven analysis.
