Job description

A friendly Haslemere-based family of four are looking for a caring, proactive nanny to join their family from November, in a 44.5 hour/week live-out role.

About the Role

With hours split across Monday-Friday, the primary focus will be on the family’s youngest son, who will be 6 months old in November. The nanny will be expected to take him for outings, such as to the playground or baby classes, along with usual nursery-related duties within the home. As he will be embarking on his weaning journey during this time, experience of weaning is a must. The family also have an older, 7 year old son, who will require pick-ups from a local school (a short drive away) Monday-Thursday, with one drop-off per week in addition (Thursday). After-school, the nanny would be required to help with homework and cook dinner for the boys. Both children are sweet natured and kind, and excited to meet their new friend!

The role will begin from w/c 11th November, for the following hours:
Mon-Weds: 8.30am-5.30pm
Thurs: 7.30am-6.30pm
Fri: 9am-3.30pm
There is some degree of flexibility on the above, and start dates of hours in full, which can be discussed upon registering interest in the role.

Pay will be in the region of £14-£18ph gross, dependent on suitability and experience for the role. Again, this can be discussed at the time of application for the role.

Interested candidates must have an enhanced DBS certificate, a clean driving license and own car for driving the children in, and weaning experience/experience with young babies. Paediatric first aid training would be a bonus, as would any further relevant qualifications.
