What you’ll do

• Assist with the preparation, presentation, and service of food to company and client standards
• Deliver friendly, efficient customer service, creating a welcoming dining environment
• Carry out cashier and till duties accurately and responsibly
• Maintain cleanliness across all areas, including tables, counters, equipment, and service areas, in line with cleaning schedules
• Support food service setup, replenishment, and stock rotation using FIFO principles
• Monitor and record food safety controls, including temperatures and hygiene checks, in line with HACCP and Food Safety legislation
• Comply with all Health & Safety, COSHH, fire, security, and site‑specific procedures
• Report incidents, faults, or irregularities promptly and assist with corrective actions as required

What you’ll bring

• Previous experience working in a catering or food service environment (preferred)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work within a compliance‑driven, safety‑focused environment
• High standards of personal hygiene, appearance, and professionalism
• Willingness to learn, attend training, and continuously improve service standards
• Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients
• Awareness of food hygiene, health & safety, and safe working practices
