At Pinewood School we’re offering an exciting opportunity for a proactive, energetic and resourceful Finance & HR Administrator to join a warm, supportive team and make a real difference to the day-to-day running of a specialist school. Your work will include supporting the financial processes and HR administration, from processing transactions and monitoring budgets to assisting with recruitment and personnel records. The post offers hands‑on experience across finance and HR, clear opportunities to develop your skills, and the chance to be part of a collaborative, values‑driven school community.
Experience of working in a finance role
Requires knowledge of accounting and financial procedures sufficient to be able to maintain accounts, produce financial reports, advise on variances equivalent to national qualifications level 4 (Desired but not essential)
Contributes to design and implementation of financial procedures; carries out tasks, requiring analytical skills such as processing orders and payments, financial monitoring and reporting, assisting with budget preparation
Keyboard skills, applied with precision and speed
Communicates a range of financial information both verbally and in writing with the senior leadership team and other staff
Knowledge of HR/recruitment systems (desirable but not essential)
