Field Care Supervisor / Care Coordinator

Due to continued growth, they are seeking a proactive and organised Field Care Supervisor / Care Coordinator to join their Tetbury‑based team. This is a varied and rewarding position, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, people‑focused environment. You will balance field‑based quality assurance and supervision with office‑based coordination duties, ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of care services.

Key Responsibilities
Field‑Based Duties
  • Conduct initial care needs assessments, risk assessments, and service reviews
  • Carry out regular staff supervisions and spot checks
  • Support onboarding and induction of new care staff
  • Ensure staff deliver safe, high‑quality, person‑centred care
  • Visit clients’ homes to maintain relationships and service standards
  • Respond to and support the resolution of urgent field‑based issues
Coordination / Office‑Based Duties
  • Liaise with clients to understand and meet care requirements
  • Manage and update care rotas using internal systems
  • Arrange last‑minute shift cover and emergency bookings
  • Maintain accurate staff compliance records and documentation
  • Support recruitment processes, including interviews and right‑to‑work checks
  • Assist with audits, CQC compliance preparation, and internal reviews
  • Participate in a shared on‑call rota (one evening per week and one weekend per month)
About You
Essential Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year’s experience in a care coordination or supervisory role (domiciliary or agency setting)
  • Strong understanding of CQC requirements and safe care delivery
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a calm, professional approach
  • IT literate and confident using rostering or care management systems
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car (willingness to travel)
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to plan work efficiently
Desirable
  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
  • Knowledge of the healthcare recruitment or agency sector
  • Familiarity with Gloucestershire and Bristol areas
