A care and support organization is in search of a Female Support Worker in Swansea, responsible for providing support to women with mental health needs. JOB ROLE: Female Support Worker
LOCATION: Grove View, Birchgrove (SA7)
SHIFTS: 08:30-21:00PM & 21:00-08:30AM.
Please note we require a Female Support Worker over the age of 18 due to a genuine occupational requirement for the people we are supporting making this position exempt from the gender discrimination rule.
About Grove View:
Located within the small, friendly community of Birchgrove, Grove View is a female gender specific home for 9 women with mainly mental health support needs. The people we support enjoy a variety of activities including bowling, walking, going to the cinema, shopping, going on holidays, arts and crafts, cooking and eating out.
We have a dedicated staff team and are looking for staff who are kind, compassionate, caring, fun and enthusiastic to join us. We work closely alongside individuals with self-harm and suicide ideation utilising Mental Health relapse prevention plans and picking up on early trigger and warning signs to minimise the risks.
As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including:
