Facilities Assistant - 3 Month Fixed Term Contract

We are looking for a Facilities Assistant on a 3 month fixed term contract to join our Baker Street Head Office team. This is an exciting opportunity to support the Facilities Manager in maintaining a well‑organised, efficient, and welcoming workplace that reflects the premium standards of the ELEMIS brand.

You will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of our Baker Street Head Office. Your responsibilities will include managing day‑to‑day facilities tasks such as administrative duties, reviewing planned maintenance schedules, and coordinating contractor visits. You’ll also work closely with our Front of House Lead, providing occasional reception cover, assisting with loading and unloading deliveries, handling office and furniture moves, managing postal duties, and ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all.

We’re looking for a proactive, enthusiastic individual who takes pride in their work and can manage a variety of tasks efficiently. If you thrive in a hands‑on role and enjoy keeping things organised, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Facilities Manager with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules
  • Support hard and soft services delivery across the office
  • Help with loading and unloading deliveries and managing incoming and outgoing post and manage courier collections and deliveries
  • Assist with furniture removal and office moves as required
  • Handle incoming and outgoing post, manage courier collections and deliveries
  • Provide general support for day‑to‑day facilities operations
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks
  • Good communication skills and a professional approach
  • Physical capability to handle manual tasks such as lifting and moving furniture up to 25kg
  • Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office, email)
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities
  • Reliable and proactive team player
