Join a growing engineering manufacturer as a Fabricator Welder, working on bespoke mechanical equipment across multiple sectors. Secure role, strong pay, overtime, and long-term development.

Fabricator Welder

Hull, East Yorkshire

  • Full-time, permanent (Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week)
  • £16.50 per our minimum (£18.20 per hour site rate when working away
  • Overtime available (weekdays and weekends)

Our client is an established and growing manufacturer of bespoke mechanical equipment, providing design, manufacture, installation and ongoing support across a wide range of engineering sectors. Due to continued growth and diversification, our client is now looking to expand their fabrication and welding team.

The Role

This Fabricator Welder role offers hands‑on involvement in the manufacture and installation of custom‑built equipment. You will work across a range of fabrication and welding processes, contributing to high‑quality engineering solutions in varied industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabrication and welding of bespoke mechanical equipment
  • MIG and MMA welding to engineering specifications
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Carrying out hot works safely and efficiently
  • Working independently and as part of an experienced engineering team
  • Travelling to site and working away from home when required

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be a conscientious and motivated Fabricator Welder with a strong work ethic and excellent technical ability. You will be confident working on your own initiative while contributing positively to a team environment.

About you:
  • Qualifications in fabrication and/or welding
  • Previous experience as a Fabricator Welder
  • Strong MIG and MMA welding skills
  • Ability to understand and work from engineering drawings
  • Experience carrying out hot works
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • Willingness to work away from home when required
  • Strong problem‑solving skills
  • A proactive and reliable approach to work
  • Willingness to learn and develop technical skills
