A leading sports governing body in the UK is seeking an External Selector for its Men’s Olympic Programme. This part-time role requires 10+ years of experience in high-performance rowing, strong judgement, and communication skills. The selected candidate will participate in selection activities, uphold integrity within the selection process, and contribute to transparent decision-making. The External Selector provides independent scrutiny within the Men’s Olympic Selection Group to ensure that athlete selections are:
Selectors help uphold the integrity of the selection system and contribute directly to selecting crews in line with British Rowing’s selection standards and stated aims as part of delivering Olympic gold medal success.
British Rowing is the governing body for the sport of rowing, both indoor rowing and rowing on water.
