An opportunity for an Estimator Assistant with Rglservices to support the Senior Estimator in preparing competitive cost estimates. The role involves organizing data, maintaining cost databases, and ensuring timely submission of bid documents. Ideal candidates will possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to read engineering drawings, with potential for career development into higher roles in estimating.
SALARY: Ranges from £30,935pa to £36,512pa depending on experience and skills
HOURS: 08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday

PURPOSE STATEMENT
To support the Senior Estimator in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates by collecting, organising, and analysing data related to materials, labour, and time requirements. The Estimator Assistant plays a key role in helping ensure the timely submission of tenders, bids, and pricing documents.

CONTEXT
The role of Estimator Assistant is very industry-specific, and there will be a steep learning curve for the role holder to gain the necessary knowledge and experience. Therefore, a good deal of open-mindedness and flexibility is essential to the success of the role. The role holder will be required to attend operational sites to gain a better understanding of the estimating procedure and the needs of clients; therefore, a full UK driving licence is necessary.
Normal hours of work are 8.00 to 17.00 Monday to Friday; however, flexibility to work outside of these hours to effectively support operational needs is a requirement of the role holder.
