Job summary

An Academy Sports Club in Wrexham is seeking a qualified Physiotherapist to provide medical support to Academy players. Responsibilities include injury assessment and rehabilitation, medical cover at sessions/games, and maintaining medical records. The ideal candidate will have a BSc in Physiotherapy, strong communication skills, and the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team. This position requires travel across the UK and a commitment to safeguarding children.

Qualifications

• Experience working with professional football or sports.
• Experience within a Football Academy.
• Ability to meet travel requirements across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and rehabilitate Academy players’ injuries.
• Provide medical cover at all training sessions and games.
• Maintain and update medical records on the Football Intelligence Platform (FIP).
• Support Academy Screening and Testing programs.
• Assist in nutrition and hydration preparation.
