A leading healthcare service company is seeking an Electro Mechanical Field Service Engineer based in Manchester. You'll be responsible for installations, servicing, and repairs of medical and ophthalmic equipment. Candidates should have strong engineering expertise and ideally experience in medical environments. The role may involve national travel and working hours cover from 8 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday, plus occasional Saturdays. This position is ideal for those looking to develop their career in a dynamic healthcare setting.
We are looking for an Electro Mechanical Field Service Engineer, with initially a strong bias towards Healthcare Ultrasound and Ophthalmology, predominately working from a home base within a 20 mile radius of Manchester. The role holder will cover a customer base across the North and Northwest of England area. Out of area working, national travel and occasional European travel could be required from time to time.

The role will be responsible for carrying out installations, servicing, moves & changes, upgrade, modification, and repair of Medical and Ophthalmic equipment as required. The role holder will also be trained and expected to carry out similar tasks on other relevant equipment which may fall outside of the initial sectors. You will be working on highly complex systems requiring quick learning and understanding; as well as the ability to rapidly identify the nature of complex issues and to provide optimal solutions. From time to time Customer / Engineer training will be required.
