  • Experience in low voltage & extra low voltage power distribution (ideally 400VAC).
  • Competent in designing & drawing schematics, general arrangements.
  • Good understanding of systems engineering principles.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and processes.

About the Role

Electrical Design Engineer to join ITI Group in Sheffield. Responsible for design, development, integration, testing of complex systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop system architectures, designs, specifications.
  • Integrate subsystems into cohesive system.
  • Execute system testing, validation.
  • Prepare technical documentation: specs, test plans, manuals.
  • Analyze client requirements, translate to functional specifications.
  • Participate in technical discussions, resolve issues.
  • Support commissioning at client sites.
  • Support procurement activities.
  • Assist in manufacturing, assembly, testing of bespoke systems.
  • Suggest improvements, continuous learning.
  • Communicate with clients, cross‑functional teams.
  • Follow health & safety regulations, quality management system.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience or 4 years systems engineering/hardware/electrical design.
  • Experience in low voltage & extra low voltage power distribution (ideally 400VAC).
  • Competent in designing & drawing schematics, general arrangements.
