A leading NHS Trust in West Bromwich is seeking a Rotational Pharmacy Assistant to join their dynamic pharmacy team. The role requires an NVQ Level 2 qualification in Pharmacy Services, with the opportunity for progression to Band 3. The SWB Pharmacy team seeks enthusiastic and ambitious Rotational Pharmacy Assistants to rotate across the brand new Midland Metropolitan University Hospital, the new Sheldon Block Pharmacy and Sandwell Health Campus Pharmacy.
Band 3 – Rotational Pharmacy Assistant
If you possess an NVQ Level 2 qualification in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent) and are offered this position, you will enter at Band 3. This role is suitable for experienced dispensers from community pharmacy or pharmacy assistants from a hospital pharmacy background.
Band 2 – Pharmacy Assistant to Band 3 development opportunity
Applicants without NVQ Level 2 will be offered a Band 2 Pharmacy Assistant position in Stores and Distribution. Completion of our in‑house Stores and Distribution Training pack and obtaining an NVQ Level 2 qualification will enable progression to Band 3.
