• Good understanding of HACCP, COSHH and Health and Safety legislation.
• Dealing with cash and card payments.
• Previous catering experience.

• Plate up meals and transport to patients on wards.
• Clear down trollies and equipment after service.
• Make sandwiches and deliver to wards.

Skills

Good customer care and communication skills

Able to work either alone or as part of a team

Good manual dexterity

Able to work under pressure

Education

Basic food hygiene certificate or commitment to achieve

Basic skills in literacy & numeracy
