CBRE, the global leader in facilities management, invites you to kickstart an exciting journey with our Level 3 Engineering Maintenance Apprenticeship leading to a nationally recognised qualification and accreditation.
Responsibilities
- During this four-year programme, you will be assigned to one of our Business Unit’s engineering teams at client locations where you will combine on-the-job learning with academic study. This includes but is not limited to:
- Attending college to complete your Level 2 and Level 3 engineering maintenance apprenticeship programme-based framework, with day release leading to recognised NVQ qualifications.
- Achieving professional Engineering Technician (EngTech Level 3) registration on completion of the NVQ.
- Maintaining a logbook throughout the apprenticeship to record projects, work undertaken, and skills learned.
- Learning and understanding the importance of Health and Safety in the workplace.
- Becoming proficient in the use of a wide range of hand tools and workshop machine tools.
- Understanding and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance from written instructions and drawings within an assigned trade.
- Undertaking tasks as instructed to increase contribution to the business unit.
- Ensuring general good housekeeping of the workplace and client locations.
Who We’re Looking For
- You must be on track to achieve or have achieved a minimum of 5 GCSEs, or equivalent, at Grade 4 or above, including English and Maths.
- Candidates must have 3 years residency in the UK/EU. Candidates may be asked to provide passport/residency/evidence of EU settled status and, in some cases, evidence of living in the UK/EU for the last 3 years.
