A veterinary practice in Skipton is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly team. Responsibilities include providing nursing care, assisting in surgeries, and participating in clinics. The role offers a rotating shift pattern, 6.6 weeks annual leave, CPD allowance, and private medical insurance. They believe in investing in their team and maintaining a supportive workplace. Ideal candidates will have a Registered Veterinary Nurse qualification and a passion for animal care.
We are currently looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team in Skipton, North Yorkshire. You will be involved in all aspects of nursing care including clinics and in-patient care before, during and after surgery.
Working hours are on a rotating shift pattern between 7:30am and 8:30pm, based on a four-day working week with 10-hour shifts. Weekend work is on a 1 in 6 rota, with Saturday and Sunday shifts from 8:00am to 8:00pm.
Our practice is modern and well equipped, featuring an in-house laboratory, ECG, digital X-ray, rigid and flexible endoscopy, and ultrasound with colour flow Doppler. With several multidisciplinary certificate holders on the team, the caseload is varied and interesting, including referral work in orthopaedics, cardiology and soft tissue surgery.
