A local charity organization in Southampton is seeking an Advice Centre Volunteer Coordinator. In this role, you will recruit, train, and support a team of volunteers, ensuring they provide quality, accurate advice to young people. You’ll lead on volunteer management and develop training programs while being part of a dedicated team. This position requires experience in volunteer coordination and a commitment to safeguarding practices. The organization values diversity and encourages applications from all backgrounds.
Salary: Pay Grade E- £30,173.90 to £34,625.25 (Full Time Equivalent, pro-rata for part-time) Actual £22,834.30 to £26,202.89
Hours: 28 hours per week to include some evenings and weekends. Happy to discuss days, hours and flexible working.

As Advice Centre Volunteer Coordinator, you will lead on recruiting, inducting, training, supporting and developing a growing team of Advice and Information Volunteers, making sure they feel welcomed, valued and supported. This role will also involve providing hands-on, practical support to volunteers, making sure that they are providing quality, accurate and timely information and advice to children and young people. This is a unique opportunity to shape and strengthen the volunteer experience within an experienced charity.
You will be part of a busy, dynamic and highly skilled team at No Limits Advice Centre and Avenue Advice Hub, which using the Youth Information, Advice and Counselling Services (YIACS) model, enables 11–25-year-olds to access holistic support under one roof
