Support Worker, York (Heworth)

Avalon Group is recruiting for a Support Worker in Heworth, York. We are an award-winning charity providing person-centred support to adults with care and support needs. This role supports four ladies to live independent, fulfilling lives through our new service in Adult Social Care.

Hours and pay

  • Full-time, part-time and casual hours available
  • From £12.27 per hour (enhanced rates for weekends/nights/bank holidays)

Shifts and incentives

  • A varied rota including mornings, evenings, weekends and sleepovers
  • £500 welcome bonus (Terms & Conditions apply)

Training and support

Requirements and eligibility

Female applicants only, due to the specific support needs of the people we support. Drivers are beneficial, but not essential.

Important: This role requires working in social care. We offer Paid Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Certificate and related sponsorship where applicable.
