A leading NHS trust is seeking a dedicated Critical Care Nurse to join their friendly team at Whipps Cross Hospital. This role requires a registered general nurse with a degree in nursing and a post-registration qualification in critical care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality care, engaging in teaching junior staff, and working alongside a diverse multidisciplinary team to support critically ill patients. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the friendly Critical Care team at Whipps Cross Hospital. You will be responsible for providing the highest standard of care for acutely ill and deteriorating patients.
The post holder must be a registered general nurse with a degree in nursing and a post registration qualification in critical care and the ability to communicate in complex situations are essential.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a desire to support the development of skills within critical care through informal and formal teaching to ensure high standards and safe care.
The role will provide diverse opportunities to work closely with a large multi-disciplinary team in Critical Care Services at Whipps Cross Hospital.
The post holder will use specialist knowledge and competence to provide expert clinical care for critically ill patients. The post holder will offer support; guidance and teaching to junior staff members and take charge of the shift in the absence of senior staff. To act as a positive role model recognizing their responsibility to deliver high quality service in a courteous, patient focused manner.
