A prominent football club in Brighton is hiring a Player Education Lead to design and implement educational programs for Girls Academy players. The ideal candidate holds a Qualified Teacher Status and BTEC Level 3 Teacher qualification with a focus on child welfare. Support our players on and off the pitch
As the Player Education Lead, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating the educational careers and lifestyle curriculum for Girls Academy players. You will lead the full delivery of the BTEC Level 2/3 Extended Diploma in Sport and BTEC National qualifications to eligible students. Additionally, you will monitor player grades and academic progress, providing comprehensive educational reports to relevant Girls Academy staff.
This position calls for a flexible approach, as you may be required to work on bank holidays and travel as needed to meet the demands of the role. You may also be required to respond to emergency situations, whether they occur during the day or at night.

Our ideal candidate will have teaching experience within key stage 4 and 5, with demonstrable experience of being an active champion of a Safeguarding culture. You must have a strong understanding of the developmental, emotional, social, and educational issues of children and young people.
To be successful in this role you must be QTS qualified and BTEC Level 3 Teacher qualified.
