Job summary

A leading insurance brokerage in Borehamwood is looking for a Claims Lead to lead a high-performing claims team. The successful candidate will ensure claims are managed effectively in accordance with service standards and FCA requirements. A strong understanding of insurance products, particularly Property and General Commercial, and great organizational skills are essential. Qualifications

  • Proven claims or case handling experience is essential.
  • Strong understanding of insurance products, particularly Property and General Commercial.
  • Excellent attention to detail ensuring that high standards of quality are maintained.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a high-performing claims team to ensure effective handling of claims.
  • Set and monitor work allocations and maintain adequate staff cover.
  • Negotiate, settle and/or repudiate claims within delegated limits of authority.
