The role
Our client is a distinguished, partner-led technical consultancy that holds a prominent standing within the UK's property and construction landscape, distinguished by a philosophy that balances high-level technical precision with meaningful community impact. With many decades delivering complex projects, they have grown into a premier provider of resilient, sustainable infrastructure and iconic developments that leave a positive, lasting legacy.
They are now recruiting for a Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer, with an openness to appointing at Principal level if the right candidate requires a promotion to move. The role is driven by project management capability, a background with larger, complex, multi-phase projects, and the ability to handle multiple concurrent jobs (up to ~10). You will be working with a degree of independence, under limited supervision from the team leader to manage and deliver projects and you will have responsibility for client liaison and financial and people management within project lifecycles.
The role will also involve both writing and reviewing technical documents such as Phase 1s, Phase 2s, Remediation Strategies and includes occasional site supervision of investigations and construction (including earthworks and remediation), ensuring all activities comply with procedures and the highest safety, health and environmental standards. The chosen candidate may be asked to support the team leader with business development and work winning.
