A leading AI development company in Greater London is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to enhance internal infrastructure and support the deployment of AI models. The role involves managing data center operations, hardware troubleshooting, and leveraging automation tools like Ansible and Terraform. Ideal candidates should have experience in data center environments, networking configuration, and Linux systems, alongside excellent communication skills. This position promotes a hybrid work model, ensuring a balance between remote work and in-office collaboration.
We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to help ensure our internal infrastructure is running smoothly and enabling our team to train, build, test and release our AI models to customers quickly.
You will be part of a supportive Infrastructure team, who are responsible for managing our internal infrastructure and data centre. The Infrastructure team maintain the physical, network and hypervisor layers internally. On top of these they also administrate many of Engineering’s core internal services such as Gitlab and build system runners, artifact stores and secret stores.
This is a great opportunity to work across the stack from physically racking the latest Nvidia GPU servers, to deploying shared services onto bare metal Kubernetes clusters. You will be able to drive real business impact by improving internal infrastructure efficiency and reliability, enabling every engineer in Speechmatics to deliver value to our customers.
