Overview

As a Customer Service Assistant, you’ll be providing the best care for our customers, both over the phone, via email and through our social media channels. The most important part of your role is to ensure that all customers leave delighted with our products and your service. You’ll be helping to answer and resolve customer queries and go the extra mile to ensure they have everything they need to practice their favourite sports.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service - Through your passion for sport, share tips and experiences with users and, through product training, provide the best technical advice for the sports you are responsible for. Decathlon has shifted to an omnichannel business, so it’s essential to assist customers in all aspects of retail, whether in-store or online.
• Merchandising - Manage stock levels and pricing and provide a high level of merchandising so that each customer can easily find the right product for their sporting practice.
• Collaborating with the team - Be part of a shop floor team, work well within a team and also independently.

Other responsibilities include:

• Proactive decision making
• Interpersonal communication and collaboration within your team and other departments
• Product and sport familiarisation and training
• Problem-solving

Additional information: You will be required to work usual retail hours including evenings and weekends.
