Qualifications

• Must be aged 18 by start date. No upper age limit.
• Must have lived in the UK for at least three continuous years.
• Must have leave to enter or remain in the UK.
• Must have specific GCSE qualifications in English and Maths.
• Must not have been a member of the British National Party or similar.
• Must not have tattoos which could cause offence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visible foot patrols.
• Reassure the public after incidents of crime.
• Build relationships with community and business leaders.
• Work with youth and schools.
• Gather intelligence through house visits.
• Collect CCTV evidence.
• Conduct missing person enquiries.
• Secure crime scenes until police arrive.
• Offer crime prevention advice.
• Support at public gatherings.
