Assistant Catering Manager

Join our dynamic Central Hall Westminster team as an Assistant Catering Manager! We're seeking a passionate and experienced professional to oversee and elevate our catering operations. If you have a deep attention to details, passion for training, exceptional customer service, and a flair for hospitality, we want to hear from you!

This is a 7 day operation with mostly daytime shifts supporting the Retail Manager in running the Wesley’s café and occasional evening shifts for Concert bars.

As Assistant Catering Manager, you will:

• Support all operations across the café and concert bars, with a hands‑on work ethic.
• Train teams and monitor their progress, focusing on excellent service, standards, and a guest‑first approach.
• Contribute to operational efficiency and profitability of the retail operation.
• Collaborate with kitchen, BoH and senior management on ordering, stock taking and reporting.
• Deputise for the Retail Manager in their absence, providing feedback and ensuring standards and service continuity.

As Assistant Catering Manager, you will bring:

• 2+ years experience as Supervisor or Assistant Manager in a similar workplace setting, ideally overseeing multiple outlets.
• Experience in training, motivating and leading a small team.
• Understanding of business costs and their controls.
• Adaptability and openness to cross‑departmental contribution.
