Qualifications

• Registered and compliant with Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Knowledge of child development and related conditions.
• Member of BAOT and relevant Special Interest Groups.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-quality School Based Assessments for children.
• Develop and implement individualised treatment plans.
• Liaise with professionals across health and education sectors.

Skills

Knowledge/training in ASD strategies and interventions (e.g. PECS, SCERTS, ADOS)

Experience of using a range of assessments and treatment methods

Demonstrable post registration experience of working with children

Education

Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy

Registered with Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

Evidence of Post graduate training or equivalent experience
