A leading care provider in Colchester is seeking a Learning and Development Training Coordinator to spearhead apprenticeship success and manage training programmes. The role involves providing guidance to learners, ensuring timely achievement of qualifications, and maintaining training records. Ideal candidates should have experience in training coordination, proficiency in MS Office, and strong organisational skills. Join a supportive environment focused on professional growth and develop your career in the social care sector.
At Caring Homes, our mission is simple: to make each home the best possible place to live and work for our residents and our teams. We strive to create an environment that feels like home, whether we live there or work there, through our behaviour and the environment we create and this includes our support team. We're a family.
We invest in our people, ensuring they have the skills to thrive. Our Learning and Development team is key to our success, fostering growth and development within our organisation.
As a Learning and Development Training Specialist, you will lead on apprenticeship success, providing structured support to learners throughout their apprenticeship journey. You will act as a key point of contact for apprentices, offering guidance, coaching, and pastoral support to help them remain engaged, overcome challenges, and successfully achieve their qualifications.
Alongside learner support, you will organise, coordinate, schedule, and track apprenticeship and wider training programmes, ensuring all learning activities, reviews, assessments, and milestones are completed on time and in line with awarding body, funding, and organisational requirements. You will maintain accurate training records, monitor progress against plans, and proactively address any risks to completion or performance.
Reporting to the Talent and Development Manager, you will work closely with trainers, line managers, and external training providers to deliver high-quality, effective learning experiences. You will support managers in developing their apprentices, contribute to continuous improvement of learning programmes, and use data and feedback to enhance learner outcomes and programme effectiveness.
If you are passionate about making a difference and want to be part of a family that values empathy, dedication, and professionalism, we would love to hear from you.
