This is a 10-month, full-time tenure track position beginning in August 2026. The successful applicant will teach 12 credits per semester (3-4 courses) in topics such as: Elementary Physical Education Methods, Management and Instructional Strategies in Physical Education, Assessment and Technology in Physical Education, Methods of Health Education, and Foundations of Physical Education. In addition, the new faculty member will coordinate practicum experiences for teacher candidates, supervise students’ full-time student teaching internship, support teacher candidates with required licensure assessments (i.e. Praxis II and edTPA), advise students in the PE professional teaching program, and participate in program accreditation processes.
