Qualifications

  • Degree level education in a Food Science based subject.
  • Experience of allergen management essential.
  • HACCP Level 3 and Food Safety Level 4 qualifications required.
  • Practical knowledge of the BRCGS Food Standard is necessary.
  • Proven experience of leadership and team management.

Responsibilities

  • Direct a team of Quality Assurance Technicians.
  • Work with production and hygiene teams to maintain food safety standards.
  • Lead the annual site BRCGS audit.
  • Manage allergen management and risk assessment processes.
  • Facilitate product recalls as needed.
