A community services organization is seeking enthusiastic volunteers in Ware for a long-term commitment to support their adult theatre group. This opportunity provides training and is perfect for those looking to develop theatrical skills in an inclusive environment. Volunteers will assist in running workshops designed for people of all backgrounds, fostering skills and confidence while ensuring accessibility for all participants. Must be 18+ and a criminal record check is required.

Herts Inclusive Theatre (HIT) use the arts and wellbeing practices to build confidence, develop skills and give participants and their families memorable, enjoyable life experiences where everyone is encouraged, valued, supported and has their part to play. Our workshops are open to all and are especially welcoming to those with special needs. We run termly theatre workshops across Hertfordshire and North London, as well as creative activities during the holiday periods. Through these activities we break down barriers about disability, encouraging participants to work together on an equal level and without prejudice.

Volunteers must be 18+, but don’t need to have previous experience - we will give you all the training you need!
Travel: Pay & Display Parking available in Kibes Lane Car Park. By train Southern Maltings is easily accessible (less than 400 metres) from Ware Train station. There are 2 trains an hour to and from London Liverpool Street (approx 45 min journey) or Tottenham Hale (approx 30 minute journey).

This opportunity is perfect for anyone looking to develop their theatrical skills, their inclusivity practice, or anyone wanting to work as part of a friendly team! Herts Inclusive Theatre provide theatre groups for children, teens and adults across Hertfordshire. These groups are designed to be inclusive and accessible so everyone can join in. In our groups, participants play drama games, work with scripts and devise their own shows, which they perform at the end of the term. In Ware, Herts Inclusive Theatre are looking for volunteers to support the running of the adult theatre group.
