A local community hub in Hatfield is seeking volunteers to assist with activities for older and disabled adults. Volunteers will help prepare and serve meals, assist with games and quizzes, and engage with clients to ensure a welcoming atmosphere. This role is perfect for those aged 18 and over, offering a chance to make a positive impact in the community. A criminal record check is required, and desirable attributes include enthusiasm and reliability.
Friendship House is a welcoming, inclusive community hub for older and disabled adults living in Hatfield and the surrounding areas. We run a range of activities every day, such as crafts, games, singing, quizzes, and we offer a hot two-course lunch as well. We are looking for more volunteers to help us with the smooth running of the activities in the hubs.
