As our new Mechanical Engineer, you’ll bring solid knowledge and experience of CCGT power plant operations, and maintenance of gas/steam turbines and HSRG’s. You combine theoretical understanding with practical experience in the design, assembly, and upkeep of plant equipment, and you thrive on solving engineering challenges.
Collaboration is key – you have an appreciation of your colleagues and work well across disciplines to deliver asset strategies that drive long‑term plant performance. You’re proactive, solutions‑focused, and comfortable working in a small team environment, including providing on‑call and out‑of‑hours support to keep Coryton running smoothly. You embrace our “Think Differently” culture by challenging the norm, sharing fresh ideas, and continuously seeking improvements. This role would suit someone who is ambitious about progressing to Chartered Engineer status, so if you’re ready to develop yourself and make a real impact in a high performing team, we’d love to hear from you!
