We have a great opportunity available to join Novus Transforming Lives, our prison education provider at HMP Forest Bank, working as an Administration Manager. This position is offered on a permanent, full‑time basis, working 40hrs per week.

Site Information

HMP Forest Bank is located in Pendlebury in Salford, Greater Manchester. The prison is a Category B Male Prison that accommodates remand and sentenced offenders. It offers a diverse range of education opportunities and employment support. Individuals can work towards nationally recognised qualifications.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

  • Have effective management of a team of Senior Administrators
  • Hold Level 2 qualifications in Literacy and Numeracy, or be willing to gain within agreed timescales.
  • Hold, or be willing to gain within agreed timescales, a Level 2 qualification related to ICT or Business Administration or have relevant industrial experience and skills.
  • Hold or be willing to work towards a Level 3 Leadership and Management qualification.
  • Provide excellent customer service across a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Have experience contributing to an effective and efficient administration within a busy office environment.
  • Have experience maintaining accurate electronic and paper‑based data, using data recording systems as required.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate up to date IT skills
