About the role

We’re looking for a highly driven and commercially astute Sage and Partnership - Commercial Manager to lead and grow one of our most strategic partner relationships with Sage.

This is a senior, high-impact role with full P&L ownership, carrying clear accountability for revenue growth, profitability and long-term commercial performance across the Sage partnership. You will lead expansion into new UK and international territories while strengthening retention, optimising existing revenue streams and ensuring sustainable profit delivery.

Blending commercial leadership, product thinking and exceptional relationship management, you’ll work cross-functionally across technology, product, marketing and finance to deliver measurable financial outcomes. As we continue to scale our SaaS partner platforms and insurance partnerships, you’ll also play a critical role in driving commercial delivery, on‑time launches and continuous optimisation across the partner ecosystem.

What you’ll be doing
  • Act as the primary day‑to‑day and contractual interface with Sage, owning governance and planning across all initiatives.
  • Design and lead expansion plans into new UK and international territories, working collaboratively across the business and with Sage stakeholders.
  • Own the end‑to‑end product and customer journey, with a strong focus on employee user and client retention, identifying and delivering initiatives to reduce churn.
  • Monitor and manage daily lead volumes across existing revenue streams, working with Sage and internal teams to protect and grow weekly and monthly performance.
  • Lead operational, commercial and contractual reviews, holding monthly and quarterly business reviews focused on revenue growth, retention and territory expansion.
  • Communicate and shape the product vision, strategy and roadmap for partner channels, in close collaboration with the SaaS product lead.
  • Act as the voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle, balancing the needs of Sage as a client with the end users they serve.
  • Work cross‑functionally with technology, product, marketing, finance and operations to deliver high‑quality solutions on time and within scope.
  • Define, track and report on KPIs to measure product and channel success, ensuring robust metrics, insight and transparent reporting.
  • Monitor product performance and user experience, iterating based on data, analytics and feedback.
  • Identify opportunities for channel shift, self‑serve adoption and conversion to support entry into new markets.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and stay informed on market and industry trends.
  • Prepare and present clear, data‑led updates to senior stakeholders within Sage and the wider PG Group leadership team.
About you
  • Exceptional analytical capability, with confidence building, interrogating and presenting commercial and financial data.
  • Strong governance experience, leading structured business reviews and holding stakeholders to account for actions and outcomes.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships at all levels, including C‑suite, both internally and with external partners.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including business case development and financial analysis.
  • Experience in digital product management or a related role, owning digital roadmaps within B2B2BC or consumer platforms.
  • Experience working with digital UX, CRO and agile delivery methodologies.
  • Demonstrable track record of increasing digital engagement and driving measurable growth.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience managing or working within multidisciplinary squads (product, design, delivery, CX, BA).
  • Hands‑on experience with digital tools such as GA4, Hotjar, CMS platforms and A/B testing tools.
  • Technical background or experience working closely with engineering teams.
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and user‑centred design.
  • Experience within SaaS, fintech, e‑commerce or similar digital environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (MBA advantageous).
