JobOverview:

Lead commercial finance analyst, partnering with our Distribution centre colleagues in the US remotely, whilst supporting the SVP of Global Logistics & Distribution. You will be responsible for providing accurate month-end reporting on spend and KPI to aid strategic decision-making. Providing insight to aid cost-saving initiatives and strategic decision-making. Whilst optimising processes and enabling efficiencies

Responsibilities

• Leading monthly reporting for the DC, including actual cost performance and insight, Inventory shipment movements and key KPI metrics
• Understand DC and logistic operations and the costs to serve the Americas region
• Help identify opportunities to improve processes and enable costs savings
• Provided detailed analysis and insight to enable costs savings and value creation
• Deputise from time to time for the Supply Chain Finance manager
• Tracking of headcount and FTE within the building

Qualifications

• Professionally qualified accountant or nearly qualified with ACA (Chartered), ACCA (Certified) or CIMA (Management) qualification.
• Experience working in a Medium or Larger retailer or wholesaler business within the finance function.
• Effective in business partnering with non-financial business managers
• Ability to apply sound judgment to accounting situations/questions, with good technical understanding.
• Analytical experience with an ability to work with large datasets and identify key drivers.
• Experience in adding value to business decision-making, investment valuation, and working on large financial analysis projects.
• High levels of accuracy when working with data
• Ability to develop self and others
• Very good time management and prioritisation skills
• Experience working with Power BI or equivalent BI tools
