Job summary

A leading mental health service provider in the UK seeks a Senior Mental Health Practitioner to enhance care for children and their families. This role involves delivering assessments and therapies, working collaboratively with families and other professionals. Ideal candidates will hold professional registration as Mental Health Nurses, Social Workers, or Occupational Therapists, offering a balance of remote and face-to-face work. Qualifications

  • Experience of working closely with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstratable post-qualifying experience in mental health.
  • Knowledge of MHA, MCA, and other relevant legal frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver mental health assessments for children and young people.
  • Develop holistic care plans with families and agencies.
  • Manage clinical caseload with evidence-based therapies.

Skills

Experience of working with adults/children experiencing mental health difficulties
Working closely with other disciplines
Knowledge of safeguarding adults and children

Education

Professional registration as a qualified Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist
